Wind turbine technicians are hard to find. With rising pay and a thriving Iowa future, they shouldn't be.

The Des Moines Register featured a great story about the positive impact of wind energy on Iowa's employment market, especially for wind turbine technicians.

"So it’s as if a wind-powered neon sign flashing “GOOD JOBS HERE” should be plastered over the program’s Ankeny door. Over at Iowa Western, just 16 full-time sustainable energy students are enrolled. In the past two years, all graduates have found full-time work within three months of interviewing, said professor Carol Young. Even at Iowa Lakes Community College in the state's wind-rich northern reaches, their two-year program comprises about 60 students."
