As Advocacy Coordinator, Brittany works to strengthen the grassroots advocacy efforts and political action fundraising for Iowa's credit unions.

Prior to joining the PolicyWorks team, Brittany worked at NAMI Iowa coordinating awareness and advocacy efforts for mental health issues. Her breadth of experience in Iowa's non-profit organizations has given her a unique perspective on the challenges that everyday Iowan's face.

Brittany is a 2021 graduate of Drake University where she received her B.A. in Law, Politics, and Society, Sociology, and Spanish with honors. In college, she worked for the University's Office of Community Engaged Learning, assisted with food recovery initiatives on campus, and advocated for greater mental health services.

Outside of work and school, Brittany serves on the board of Community Youth Concepts -- an organization dedicated to improving student success outcomes through volunteer service. She also spends time hammocking in trees, rock-climbing, and reading good books.
