Thanks to the efforts of our client, NAMI Iowa, Iowans battling a mental health crisis will be provided with a faster way to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling the three-digit number, 988. Launching on July 16, those in need can call or text this number to reach a trained counselor who can help they deal with suicidal thoughts and mental health crises.
